Over 27 years ago, in 1984, Knapen Trailers developed Europe’s first moving floor trailer. This means that Knapen Trailers is not just the first but also the most experienced manufacturer of moving floor trailers. For 27 years we have been getting up to moving-floor trailers and going to bed with moving floor trailers. This enables us to make all the difference in the world for you.

It is with good reason that we have specialised 100% in this type of transport since 2001; it is with good reason that we are interested in everything that has anything at all to do with moving floor transport; and it is with good reason that we are by far your most experienced moving floor specialist.

At the end of the 1980s we set the trend in the moving floor world by inventing the unique self-supporting design. In this – still very current – design the front part of the trailer is supported by the side walls, as a result of which a large part of the chassis is redundant. Our invention thus saves you a lot of weight. Over the last twenty years we have optimised this design right down to the tiniest detail. So it is with good reason that nowadays our moving floor trailers are manufactured with our unique self-supporting design as standard.

We also have a wealth of experience in the field of special construction. You will notice that we are not afraid to carry out design work to suit your special wishes. Naturally we have already implemented countless special moving floor projects.
